Army Chief's Last Address: Azam Swati's questions to the Army Chief and Imran Khan's response

The last and most important address of the Army Chief of Staff

Three or four things are very important in today's address of the Army Chief. Army Chief of Staff General Bajwa said that in February last year, the Army decided not to interfere in politics, yet some political people continued an inappropriate propaganda campaign against the Army. I assure you that we are and will continue to be strict on this. It is the right of political parties to criticise the army and use inappropriate and rude language instead of welcoming the signing process, but not in the choice and use of words. You should be careful. The leadership of the army can do anything, but it cannot go against the interests of the country. Hajjyan was created by creating a false narrative, from which you are being taken to escape. This is a great sin. Pakistan is currently suffering from a serious economic crisis. Those who think that they will create a rift between the army and the people will fail. I hope that our political parties will also reconsider their attitudes. The truth is that mistakes have been made by every institution in Pakistan, including political parties and civil society. We should learn from these mistakes. We should unite and move forward. In the 2018 general elections, some parties named the party selected as an excuse to sit in on the run-off, and after losing the vote of confidence in 2022, one party named the other party as imported. This attitude must be abandoned.

Today, Pakistan is in a severe economic crisis and no one party can not get the country from this economic crisis, it is necessary for political stability, it is time that all the stakeholders learn from the past mistakes while keeping their personal Anna on one side and moved forward and to Pakistan.

Army Chief of Staff General Bajwa said that the army leadership had many opportunities and resources to respond to this inappropriate invasion, but the army showed courage and patience in the larger interest of the country by not making any negative statements. It should be noted that there is a limit to patience. Pakistan is built to last forever.

Referring to 1971, he said that here I want to correct some facts: the former East Pakistan was not a military but a political failure; the number of soldiers who fought was not 92 thousand but only 34 thousand, and the rest were people from different government departments. And these thirty-four thousand were against two and a half lakh Indian Army soldiers and Mukti Bahini, who were highly trained, but despite this, our army fought very bravely and made unprecedented sacrifices, which was acknowledged by the former Indian Army Chief Field Marshal himself. He said that the nation has not acknowledged the sacrifices of these brave Ghazis and martyrs till today, while these Ghazis and martyrs are our heroes.

Imran Khan's reaction to the Army Chief's address

Makhdoom Shahabuddin asked Imran Khan if the Army Chief had said in his speech that a false narrative of a foreign conspiracy had been created. Imran Khan said that if my narrative is false, then the cypher that came at that time is the Army Chief. All the officers were present, and they all decided to sit down and do the march. There was something wrong in this cipher, then the march was done, and the American ambassador was called and protested. A request has been sent to the Chief Justice. The Chief Justice should investigate it and prove me a liar; everything will come out.

Questions to Army Chief of Staff Azam Swati

Senator Azam Swati, while reacting to the last speech of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, said, "I say to the people of Pakistan to wake up because our Army Chief General Bajwa gave a great speech last year." We have decided that the Pakistan Army will not be a part of the political process in any way. We welcome your decision. I also heard the same statement a few weeks ago from DGISPR and DGISI. We are their lovers. When a companion said to Hazrat Umar Farooq, may Allah be pleased with him, "Where did these clothes on your long body come from?" This is my religion and your religion, the religion of the people of Pakistan, the law, and the constitution. I want to ask you who is responsible for the regime change. You said that the economy of the country has collapsed. Mehdar, who are you? Who is responsible for the $11 billion in loans to the people of my nation that have been forgiven by the thieves of 13 parties? You have decided that now you will be subject to the constitution and the law; please also tell me when 16 FIRs were registered against Arshad, when famous journalists were exposed, when the murderous attack on Imran Khan occurred, and when Arshad Sharif was killed. When Azam Swati was tortured

Azam Swati said that my question is whether these are the actions after February or whether these are important questions before, and tell me when you were part of the regime change. Pakistan's GDP growth was at 6 percent in 2018. Our current account was 20 billion, which we brought down to 16 billion; the exports went up to 31 billion; then tell me who bankrupted the country in seven months. Those responsible should be tried for rebellion, like Azam Swati. The people who are responsible for this should be exposed. See the whole world. There is only one law for senators and generals. There is only one law for lawyers and judges. Bajwa Sahib.  The dispute is against a few of these circles and against these powerful people who have practically destroyed every institution of the country, and as the late General Hameed Gul of this country said, if accountability is to be held, then the army must be involved. These black sheep should be held accountable so that milk becomes milk and water becomes water. The country cannot afford any more chaos at this time.
